Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 30: In observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, themed "Culture of Integrity for Nation's Prosperity," Government College for Women, Bhagwati Nagar, organized a series of engaging activities focused on promoting transparency and accountability within the academic community. Under the leadership of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, the events attracted enthusiastic participation from faculty, students, and staff, all committed to fostering ethical conduct. Dr. Abrol emphasized the critical role of vigilance in personal and national progress, urging students to embody integrity in their daily lives. Integrity Pledge Ceremony: Participants reaffirmed their commitment to ethical behavior. Slogan-Writing Competition: Muskan Bhat and Indu Raina from Semester V earned first and second place, respectively, for their insightful slogans. Poster-Making Competition: Vanshika Rajput and Ananya Jamwal secured the top two positions with their creative representations of vigilance and accountability. Essay-Writing Competition: Ananya Jamwal and Pallavi Bhagat won first and second places, respectively, for their essays on the importance of a vigilant society. Lecture on Vigilance Awareness: Neeraj Kumar from the Department of Economics provided valuable insights into the need for transparency in governance. Quiz Competition: Team Indira emerged victorious in the quiz, testing participants' knowledge on the week's theme.
