RS PURA, Oct 30: Government Degree College (GDC) R.S. Pura observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on October 30, 2024, with an event led by the college's NCC Cadets. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, along with faculty and students, took a unity pledge led by Cadet Shikha Devi in the college premises.
The celebrations included a spirited Unity Run held at Bana Singh Stadium, R.S. Pura, where NCC Cadets and students participated enthusiastically. Principal Kour commended the participants and the organizing team for their dedication. The event was coordinated by Dr. Roopali Slathia, CTO, and Dr. Rakesh Choudhary, ANO, with faculty members Dr. Akrity Parihar, Prof. Geetika Goswami, Prof. Vijeeta Anand, Prof. Sunil Kumar Mangoch, and Prof. Rajinder Singh joining the unity pledge.
