Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 30: In observance of Vigilance Awareness Week (October 28 - November 3), Government Degree College (GDC) Sidhra, under the guidance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a documentary screening focused on preventive vigilance measures. This year's theme, "Culture of Integrity for Nation's Prosperity," emphasizes the importance of vigilance in promoting transparency and accountability in governance. The event, held on October 30, 2024, highlighted the Central Vigilance Commission's initiative, aimed at fostering public awareness on the need for ethical practices and transparency in public administration. Students from various semesters and faculty members attended the program, engaging in discussions on the role of vigilance in combating corruption. Dr. Anshu Gupta, Head of the Environmental Sciences Department, organized the event, with support from Dr. Anu Sharma, Head of Botany. Both faculty and students shared a collective commitment to building an informed and vigilant society for a prosperous and corruption-free nation. |
