JAMMU, Nov 2: The news of Devinder Rana's passing has left the community in shock, with various religious and social organizations coming together to pay their last respects. His sudden demise spread quickly, prompting an outpouring of grief and disbelief.
In a virtual meeting chaired by Ch. Rashid Azam Inqlabi, participants reflected on Rana's significant contributions to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. As a prominent leader, he dedicated his efforts to advocating for all sections of society and was a vocal opponent of any changes to the status of Jammu and Kashmir.
Representatives from organizations including the Gurjar Mahasabha, International Gurjar Maha Sabha, Dehat Kisan Sabha, Backward Classes Union, and the Muslim Youth Front shared their memories and expressed their condolences. They prayed for the peace of his departed soul, highlighting the void left by his passing in the region. |
