Jammu, Nov 3: A workshop on managing indigestion through yoga and naturopathy was conducted at the Yoga and Meditation Center in Chhanni Himmat, organized by Vichar Kranti Manch International, the Indian Yoga Association, and Sarv Uthan Trust. Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, State Yoga Commissioner and Chairman of the Indian Yoga Association, led the workshop and discussed how yoga, home remedies, and naturopathy can help manage indigestion, also known as dyspepsia. Dr. Jain explained various yoga poses such as Pawanmuktasana, Bhujangasana, Vajrasana, and Pranayama techniques like Anulom Vilom, which can aid digestion and relieve bloating. Home remedies, including ginger tea, fennel seeds, and apple cider vinegar, were also recommended for easing digestive discomfort. Additionally, naturopathy practices like hydrotherapy and herbal treatments with peppermint oil and caraway seeds were highlighted. The session included an interactive Q&A with participants, including Ashok Gupta, Yesh Paul Sharma, HC Vaid, and others. Mrs. Anju Bansal demonstrated yoga poses and sang a bhajan, adding a spiritual touch. The program concluded with a Vedic prayer. |
