RAJOURI, Nov 6: Govt. P.G. College Rajouri, in collaboration with the District Drugs De-addiction Center (DDAC), organized a seminar on drug abuse awareness as part of the Nasha-Mukt Abhiyaan initiative. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, Convener of the Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan Committee, highlighted the need for awareness events to combat drug addiction.
Yasser Rasool, Manager of DDAC, addressed the gathering, stressing the dangers of drug misuse and its adverse effects on health and society. He encouraged students to support affected individuals toward rehabilitation.
College Principal Dr. K.K. Sharma urged youth to lead efforts against substance abuse for a healthier future. The event saw active involvement from NSS volunteers, NCC cadets, and faculty members, including Dr. Raiz Mirza, Prof. D.N. Sharma, and others. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Raiz Ahmed Mirza, Head of the Department of Computer Applications. |
