Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 8: The Department of Horticulture organized a one-day training program at Troti Panchayat in Block Khour under the ATMA scheme, gathering 120 women farmers to promote skill development and economic independence. Led by Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu, Rakesh Kotwal, the program aimed to equip women with skills to set up small-scale processing units, helping them generate personal income. Participants received hands-on training in making value-added products like squashes and pickles from local produce. Kotwal encouraged attendees, particularly unemployed youth, to benefit from Horticulture Department schemes that support self-sufficiency and income generation.
