Early Times Report AKHNOOR, Nov 10: In a gathering today, Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj, revered Sadguru of Sahib worship, delivered an enlightening discourse on devotion and spiritual wisdom. Addressing the congregation, he highlighted that all elements of devotion lead towards God but require true curiosity to know the divine and the soul. Madhuparamhans Ji emphasized the fleeting nature of worldly happiness, comparing it to a mirage that deceives but never satisfies. He shared insights from Sahib's teachings to disciple Dharamdas Ji, stressing that true devotion brings four key virtues: discretion, detachment, focus on the soul, and ultimately, salvation. Through discretion, he explained, one can avoid life's pitfalls, while detachment frees the soul from material bondage. "Happiness is not found in worldly attractions," he said, adding that attachment to these is the root cause of the cycle of birth and death. He urged devotees to prioritize the soul's welfare on the journey to eternal peace. |
