Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 12: On the fifth day of the Yuvtarang Cultural Fest, hosted by the Department of Student Welfare at Cluster University of Jammu, students showcased their talents in a series of lively competitions. Organized under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. K.S. Chandrasekar, the event brought together students from across the region for a celebration of arts, culture, and friendly competition. The day's events included a Quiz Competition at SPMR College of Commerce, with GGM Science College taking first place. At Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar, students impressed with classical vocal and instrumental solos, and an Indian Group Song contest, with GCOE securing top positions in both categories. MAM College hosted skits and mime performances, where students captivated audiences with their theatrical skills. Judges for these events included notable personalities such as Mr. Sumit Sharma, Mr. Kamal Razdan, and Ms. Ifra Kak for the drama events, and faculty from GCW Gandhi Nagar for music competitions. The festival was coordinated by Dr. Monika Sharma, Dean of Students Welfare, and her dedicated team, who ensured smooth operations and a memorable experience for all participants. |
