Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 12: The Government College for Women, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, inaugurated a two-day workshop on "Work-Life Synergy: Strategies for Success" aimed at empowering faculty, professionals, and students with strategies for balancing personal and professional responsibilities. The workshop opened with the ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana, followed by a welcome address from Principal Prof. Dr. Meeru Abrol, who emphasized the importance of balancing career success with personal well-being. Chief Guest Sukhleen Kour, Director of Planning at the Higher Education Department of J&K, shared insights on the significance of work-life synergy in modern environments. The event featured sessions by experts like Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, who discussed the concept of work-life synergy, and Dr. Harleen Kour from the University of Jammu, who elaborated on achieving work-life balance for overall well-being. Vishaka Sharma, Technical Associate at the Ministry of Environment, provided strategies for managing daily stress and anxiety. Dr. Pavanjeet Bali, workshop coordinator, provided an overview of the college's growth since its inception in 2019. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Nisha Bhagat, workshop convener, and a unifying rendition of the National Anthem.
