KATHUA, Nov 12: In a continued crackdown on drug activities, Kathua Police seized approximately 6 grams of heroin and arrested a female drug peddler in the Rajbagh area. Acting on a tip-off, a police team from PP Marheen, under the guidance of SDPO Border and SHO Rajbagh, set up a checkpoint in Khanpur-Banyari.
The arrested individual, identified as Safia, was found in possession of the narcotics while traveling from Khanpur to Banyari. The drugs and the vehicle used in the crime were seized. An FIR (No. 231/2024) has been registered under the NDPS Act, and further investigation is ongoing.
