EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Nov 13: The President of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), Tariq Hameed Karra, today chaired an important meeting of the frontal organisations of the Congress Party. The meeting focused on enhancing the grassroots strength of these organisations, which are critical in raising awareness and mobilising support across various communities, castes, and sections of society. During the meeting, leaders from various Congress cells presented valuable suggestions aimed at fortifying the party’s outreach. These frontal organisations play a pivotal role in educating and informing the public about the policies and vision of the Congress Party, particularly in challenging the misinformation campaigns being propagated by rival political parties especially BJP.
Karra emphasised the importance of fostering a deep commitment and conviction to the Congress ideology in order to effectively counter the BJP’s misleading and divisive narratives. He highlighted that the BJP, as a well-oiled machine of false propaganda, poses a significant challenge, but with a collective and scientific approach, the Congress Party can reach out to the masses and offer a truthful, inclusive alternative. After attentively listening to the suggestions from the Chairpersons of all cells, Karra shared strategic insights on how the party can utilise modern tools and methodologies to counter BJP’s falsehoods and strengthen its presence at the grassroots level.
