Kathua, Nov 13: Kathua Campus, University of Jammu concluded a 15-day Summer Internship Programme, organized for BCA and B.Sc. Computer Science students of Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua. The internship programme aimed to equip students with essential skills and practical experience in Computer Science, fostering their knowledge in key technical areas and enhancing their readiness for industry roles. The programme, as a whole, demonstrated Kathua Campus's commitment for bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application, preparing students for the evolving demands of the technology sector. The valedictory ceremony marked the event's successful completion, celebrating the students' commitment and achievements throughout the intensive programme. Prof. Arvind Jasrotia, Rector, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu appreciated the efforts of faculty members of the MCA department for their dedication in conducting the internship programme while managing their regular responsibilities. He acknowledged their significant role in delivering quality training and mentoring the students. The internship was conducted under the convenorship of Dr. Sourabh Shastri, Incharge Head, MCA department. Dr. Shastri guided the students through sessions on Data Mining, provided hands-on experience tailored for BCA students. Additionally, Dr. Sunny Sharma, faculty member from the MCA department, delivered in-depth sessions on Web Technologies. Shiv Kumar and Bharat from Government Degree College, Kathua and Amit Sharma, Pranav Ratta, and Dr. Bharti Rana from Kathua Campus were also present during the valedictory ceremony. |
