MV International School hosts workshop | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 14: CBSE Centre of Excellence (COE) Chandigarh organised an intensive two-day Training of Trainers Certification Course at MV International School, bringing together Principals, Vice Principals, Headmistresses, and teachers from CBSE schools across the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. This prestigious event saw the participation of 71 educators, who, upon certification, shall contribute to training initiatives in their respective regions, impacting the broader educational landscape. The program was a collaborative effort with the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM), New Delhi. The program featured 'Master Trainers' from the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India. Gunjan Gandhi, Joint Director at ISTM, and Sharad Nautiyal, former Joint Director of Skill Development in Madhya Pradesh, led the participants through advanced adult training techniques. Their sessions were highly interactive, incorporating hands-on activities and discussions to empower attendees with skills to facilitate effective training. Whereas, Poonam Mendiratta, Principal of The Manthan School in Greater Noida West, engaged participants with insights on the National Education Policy 2020 and theories of Experiential Learning. She guided educators in exploring diverse learning styles, trainer roles, and methods to set measurable learning outcomes that align with modern educational goals. Throughout the course, participants examined the role of technology in education, experiential learning techniques, and setting impactful goals through impressive presentations. Principal Kundan Lal Dogra of MV International School emphasised on the transformative potential of such training, commending the participant's dedication and encouraging them to apply their knowledge for the enrichment of both educators and students. A message from Manoj Srivastava, Director Training at CBSE, underscored the national significance of this program. The initiative was aimed to create a pool of 15,000 resource persons across India, marking a milestone in the successful implementation of NEP 2020. This Training of Trainers program at MV International School was a vital step in cultivating a robust network of trained professionals poised to elevate educational standards in J&K and Ladakh, ultimately advancing CBSE's commitment to effective implementation of NEP 2020. |
