The event gathered police officials and students to explore innovative technological solutions for enhancing law enforcement capabilities in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Hackathon addressed crucial challenges faced by the J&K Police, including cybercrime and terrorism, aiming to strengthen public safety and law enforcement through advanced technological applications. Speaking to participants, ADGP Jain emphasized the increasing importance of technology in modern policing, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. He highlighted that the unique security needs of Jammu and Kashmir require innovative and specialized solutions due to the region's geopolitical sensitivities.

"This Hackathon presents an incredible opportunity for young minds to develop practical solutions that can significantly impact the security landscape of Jammu and Kashmir and beyond." He encouraged participants to think creatively, stressing that their contributions could shape the future of law enforcement in the region.
Acknowledging the efforts of IIT Jammu and the J&K Police, ADGP Jain noted that the event fosters a platform for collaboration between academic and law enforcement communities to improve community safety.
