Poonch, Nov 14: Marking Children’s Day, the Poonch Gunners of the Indian Army held a health and hygiene awareness session for the children of Government Middle School Shahpur, one of the closest schools to the Line of Control in the Poonch sector.
The session covered essential topics such as dental care, balanced nutrition, proper sanitation, and personal hygiene practices. Through interactive discussions, children learned correct brushing techniques, the importance of nutritious diets, and the role of clean surroundings in maintaining health.
This initiative by the Poonch Gunners aims to instill healthy habits in young minds, fostering a culture of wellness within the community. By empowering children with these foundational lessons, the Army seeks to contribute towards a healthier future for the region. |
