DODA, Nov 18: Doda Police, under the leadership of SP Hqrs. Doda, Sh. Shakeel Rehman Bhat, organized an awareness programme at Govt. Degree College Doda to inform the public about the new criminal laws. The event was held under the guidance of SSP Doda, Shri Sandeep Kumar Mehta.
The programme saw the participation of faculty, non-faculty members, and a large number of students. Police officers, including SP Hqrs. Doda, delivered informative lectures on the newly introduced criminal laws, including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA).
These laws are set to replace the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), and the Indian Evidence Act.
