Training Workshop held for Staff

DODA, Nov 21: A training-cum-workshop was held today here in the Community Hall Doda to impart training to the supervisory staff for the seamless conduct of the upcoming OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) based police constable recruitment examination.
Scheduled for December 1, 8, and 22, 2024, these exams will involve around 10,000 candidates from across the District. The workshop aimed to acquaint magistrates, observers, superintendents, and invigilators with the examination's rules, regulations, and procedures.
The session was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh along with the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sudershan Kumar, and Dr Pritam Lal Thapa, member of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB).
During the workshop, the JKSSB member provided a detailed overview of the essential norms, guidelines, and operational protocols required for the smooth conduct of the OMR-based exams. Presentations addressed key aspects such as handling examination materials, ensuring transparency, and maintaining confidentiality throughout the process.
