ANANTNAG, Nov 21: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Syeed Fakhruddin Hamid Thursday inaugurated the block level event of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) at Panchayat Rakhi Brah of Block Chittergul, here.
The DAJGUA is a comprehensive initiative comprising 25 interventions to be implemented by 17 line departments, and aims to significantly improve the socio-economic conditions of Tribal Communities in a time-bound manner.
During his address, the DC highlighted the importance of the Abhiyan and its potential impact on the lives of the tribal population of Rakhi Brah. He also paid tribute to the significant contributions of Tribal leader Birsa Munda.
