Agencies NEW DELHI, Nov 21: K. Sanjay Murthy officially assumed the role of Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India today in a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The oath of office was administered by the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, at the Ganatantra Mandap. The ceremony, which took place at 10:00 a.m., marks the beginning of Shri Murthy's tenure as the nation's top auditor. As the CAG, he will oversee the auditing of government accounts and ensure financial accountability across various public sectors.
