| GGM Science College observes Janjatiya Gaurav Divas | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 27: GGM Science College commemorated Janjatiya Gaurav Divas to honor the birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda and the contributions of other tribal heroes. The celebrations, beginning on November 15, 2024, featured activities such as a story-writing competition and floral tributes.
Principal Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta, along with faculty and students, paid homage to Bhagwan Birsa Munda and highlighted the vital role of tribal communities in shaping India's cultural and historical fabric. Prof. Sunil Dutt, Convener UGC Committee, spoke about Bhagwan Birsa Munda's life, emphasizing his dedication to social justice and cultural pride.
The event, organized by the UGC Committee under the Principal's supervision, celebrated tribal heritage and aimed to foster awareness about the challenges faced by these communities. Faculty members including Prof. Devinder Kumar Sharma and Dr. Pankaj Gupta also participated in the event. |
