CMH College of Legal Studies Marks Constitution Day with Talks, Activities | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 27: CMH College of Legal Studies, Jammu, celebrated Constitution Day with a series of lectures and activities to honor the 75th anniversary of the Constitution's adoption. Dr. Kartika Bakshi from the University of Jammu opened the event with a lecture on the Constitution's evolution. Justice Subash Gupta, Retired Judge, elaborated on its foundational principles, referencing landmark judgments. Advocate Mamta Chib discussed legal aid and the role of the District Legal Services Authority. Students also contributed, with Siya Mahajan delivering a lecture on the Constitution's relevance and Pratibha Sharma leading a Preamble reading ceremony. Chairman Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali emphasized the importance of upholding constitutional values and praised Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's contributions. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Amman Shafqat Mir, Faculty of Law. |
