SAMBA, Nov 27: The Women Development Cell of SPPND Government Degree College, Samba, in collaboration with FICCI FLO JKL, organized a one-day workshop on women's health and hygiene. The event addressed critical topics such as PCOD, menstrual hygiene, dental health, and holistic development.
Kanupriya Garg shared insights on managing PCOD and holistic health, while Ritu Ahal delivered an engaging session on oral hygiene. Rajani Sehgal concluded with a thought-provoking talk on menstrual hygiene, encouraging open conversations about menstruation.
Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri emphasized the significance of such initiatives in empowering young women, particularly in border areas. The workshop also featured a Q&A session, fostering interactive learning. The event was coordinated by Dr. Parvani Rekhi, with Dr. Anupama Sharma delivering the vote of thanks. |
