Kupwara, Dec 1: A minor boy, identified as Ayaan Shafi Bhat, son of M. Shafi Bhat from Shahnagri Mawer, Handwara, was injured in a leopard attack near his home on Sunday evening.
The incident occurred around 6:15 pm when the boy was attacked by the leopard. He was immediately rushed to NTPHC Qalamabad for medical treatment.
The Wildlife Department has initiated a massive hunt to capture the leopard and has already placed cages in the area to ensure public safety. |
