Early Times Report RS PURA, Dec 2: The Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College (GDC) R.S. Pura marked World AIDS Day by organizing a symposium themed "Take the Right Paths" to raise awareness and emphasize prevention strategies. Seven student speakers addressed key aspects of HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and the importance of combating stigma. The event was held under the guidance of the College Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, who encouraged students to act as change agents within society. The convener, Prof. Geetika Goswami, lauded the participants for their efforts and emphasized proactive measures such as safe practices and early testing to curb the disease's spread. Prominent faculty members present included Dr. Sudesh Kumar, Dr. Akriti Parihar, Prof. Jai Mala Thakur, Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch, Ms. Avneet Kour, Dr. Hidayat, and Mr. Hilal. The session fostered an engaging discussion on the theme.
