JAMMU, Dec 2: A One-Day Awareness-cum-Demonstration Programme was held at the NCC Camping Ground, Nagrota Jammu, organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the supervision of Dy. SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller of Civil Defence, Jammu.
The programme aimed to educate NCC cadets on essential life-saving skills such as First Aid, CPR, Choking Management, Fire Fighting, and other emergency rescue techniques. Civil Defence Instructors conducted the session, providing valuable hands-on demonstrations and guidance.
Around 100 male and 30 female NCC cadets attended the event, which was held in the premises of the NCC Camp, Nagrota. During the session, the Civil Defence team showcased demonstrations on First Aid and Fire Fighting.
Col. S.P. Tewari, Camp Commander and Commanding Officer of the 1st J&K Bn. Girls NCC, Srinagar, appreciated the efforts of Civil Defence and thanked the team for organizing such a vital awareness programme.
Also present at the event were Sh. R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden, Civil Defence Jammu, SI Ram Dayal, In Charge of Trainings, Civil Defence, and the NCC staff from Nagrota. |
