Friendly cricket match promotes anti-drug message in Jammu | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 3: A friendly cricket match was played today between Shiv Sena (UBT) and Press Club XI at the Jammu University ground, with a strong message to the youth to stay away from drugs. Captain Rupesh of Press Club XI won the toss and set a target of 141 runs in 20 overs. Opener Jugnu contributed 57 runs, while Rohin took 4 wickets, leading Press Club XI to a 5-run victory. Shiv Sena's bowler Sandy took 4 wickets for 16 runs, while Surendra scored 33 and Azad Chib 42 runs. Rohin was named the Man of the Match for his all-round performance. During the event, the state head of Shiv Sena (UBT) urged the youth to focus on sports and health, emphasizing that addiction is a sign of weakness and leads to destruction. |
