Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 4: Government Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College, Jammu, took a significant step in the fight against drug addiction by organizing a mega "Nasha Mukt Abhiyan" campaign. The event was a collaborative effort of the NSS Units, Brahma Kumaris Sanstha, NCORD Committee, Red Ribbon Club, and the Zoology Department. The campaign, inaugurated by Principal Prof. Romesh Kumar Gupta, gathered over 200 participants, including students, faculty, and stakeholders. Prof. Gupta emphasized the pivotal role of educational institutions in creating a drug-free society and urged collective action to protect the youth from substance abuse. The event featured a motivational session by Brahma Kumaris, focusing on spiritual and mental approaches to combating addiction. Discussions and video screenings by the Zoology Department and Red Ribbon Club offered scientific and public health insights, making a strong impact on attendees.
