SAMBA, Dec 4: Awareness Programme on Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP) was organized today at Panchayat Ghar Khara Madana Block Purmandal. The event was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner Champa Devi.
The Department of Agriculture and the Allied Sectors made a detailed presentation on all 29 projects under HADP to generate awareness among farmers to avail the benefits from different schemes like Promotion of Exotic vegetable Cultivation, Mushroom Cultivation, Bee Keeping, Farm Mechanization, Horticulture Development, Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Sericulture, Value addition among others.
In his address, Additional District Development Commissioner informed the farmers how they can apply through Kisan Sarthi Portal for availing HADP benefits and gain up-skilling through Kisan Daksh Portal.
The Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dy. DEO, Assistant Director Fisheries, Samba, Block Development Officer-Purmundal offered insight into the support provided for establishing ventures across these sectors.
Later, the Additional District Development Commissioner gave away sanction letters to beneficiaries of initiatives like establishment of Millet Mills, Low Cost Polyhouse, HDEP Vermi Beds among others to the farmers who applied through the HADP portal. |
