UDHAMPUR, Dec 4: The District Development Council Chairperson, Udhampur, Lal Chand on Wednesday convened a meeting to review the progress of ongoing developmental works being executed under the RDD sector in the district.
The meeting was held in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex and attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal, Block Development Officers and technical staff from the RDD sector. The DDC Chairperson assessed the block-wise progress of the ongoing developmental projects. He emphasized the need to expedite the pace of work on all projects and schemes to ensure their completion within the stipulated time frame. He directed the executing agencies to prioritize quality and timely completion of works, underscoring the importance of transparency and accountability in all activities undertaken by the RDD sector in the district. The Chairperson DDC urged the officers and technical staff to adopt a proactive approach in resolving bottlenecks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of developmental initiatives aimed at uplifting the rural areas of the district. |
