Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 5: As part of the World AIDS Day 2024 observance, the Red Ribbon Club of Government SPMR College of Commerce organized a painting competition on the theme "Take the Right Step." The activity aimed to inspire youth to reflect on HIV/AIDS prevention and advocate for an inclusive, supportive society. Principal Dr. Rajinder Singh encouraged participants to proactively spread awareness among vulnerable communities. Prof. Pawan Kumar Gupta, HoD Commerce, emphasized empathy and informed action in combating stigma. The competition saw vibrant participation, with Pragati Kohli (BBA Sem 1st) winning first place, followed by Akshita Sher and Akhleash Singh (both BBA Sem 1st) securing second and third positions. The event, managed by Red Ribbon Committee members, underscored the college's commitment to fostering awareness and health advocacy. |
