Early Times Report SUCHETGARH, Dec 5: State Bank of India (SBI) Chief General Manager, Chandigarh Circle, Krishan Sharma, distributed PAI claims totaling Rs 1.10 crore to the families of deceased defence personnel during his visit to the Octroi Post at the Suchetgarh Border. He was accompanied by General Manager Vimal Kishore and officers from the Jammu Administrative Office. The beneficiaries included Geeta Rani (Rs 50 lakh), Surinder Kour (Rs 30 lakh), and Smt. Anita Devi (Rs 30 lakh). The claims were disbursed under the inbuilt insurance of SBI's Salary and Pension Package Accounts. Shri Sharma highlighted the benefits of these accounts and reassured the public of SBI's unwavering support in times of need. Following the ceremony, Sharma held discussions with BSF officers, led by DIG BSF Chetar Pal Singh and CO Zafar, on SBI's banking products. Feedback was sought to improve customer services. The event concluded with a tree plantation drive, symbolizing the commitment of both teams to public welfare. |
