RAMBAN, Dec 5: The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI), Ramban, successfully concluded its Women Tailoring Entrepreneurship Development Program today. A group of 33 trainees who participated in the program showcased their enthusiasm and commitment to acquiring new skills to achieve self-reliance and entrepreneurship. The trainees were acquainted with Entrepreneurship Competencies, Effective Communication Skills, Marketing Management, Problem Solving Time Management, Banking, Government Schemes, Behavioral Game, Dress Designing, Basics of stitching & measurement. They were further introduced to Saree skills vertices of frill theory paper cutting & practical, stitching of Nighties, Night Suits, Night Gowns, Fancy Nighties theory & practical, School Uniforms for girls blouse & skirts theory & practical, Baby Frock, Saree Zigzag, Chudidhar, Punjabi, Patiyala, Arabic, Rajasthani Pushup, Anarkali Top, Apple Cut Top, Sahraw theory & practical and Basics of Sewing Machine Repairs etc. Lead District Manager (LDM) Khursheed Ahmed Malik was the chief guest at the valedictory function along with Director SBI RSETI Harvinder Singh. Speaking at the event, Malik emphasized the importance of skill development initiatives like this in transforming the lives of women and contributing to the economic uplift of the region. Director Harvinder Singh expressed appreciation for the trainees’ dedication and assured continued support in their entrepreneurial endeavors. “We are committed to creating a platform for women to realize their potential and contribute meaningfully to their families and society,” he stated. |
