Udhampur, Dec 5: District Police Udhampur successfully foiled a bovine smuggling attempt, rescuing eight bovines from a vehicle at the Jakhani naka point within the jurisdiction of Police Station Udhampur.
A police team intercepted the vehicle (Registration No. JK19A-1587), but the driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind. The eight bovines were rescued, and the vehicle was seized.
A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Udhampur, and further investigation is underway. |
