Jammu, Dec 7: Rotary Club Jammu Trikuta, in collaboration with Rotary Club Udhampur and KLSM Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur, organized a free eye check-up camp at the Shelter Home (Home for Urban Homeless), Boria Gorkh Nagar. The camp catered to inmates of the shelter home and elderly individuals from nearby areas, providing free check-ups and medicines.
The team from Rotary Club Jammu Trikuta, including Mrs. Sushma Gupta, Dr. Ram Kumar Gupta, Sh. Upender Gupta, Sh. Baldev Raj Sharma, Dr. S.P. Padha (Orthopedic Specialist), Mrs. Sudershan Padha, and Pradeep Slaria, along with Dr. D.N. Sharma of KLSM Eye and ENT Hospital, assured free surgeries for the inmates. The operations are scheduled for December 21, 2024, at KLSM Eye and ENT Hospital in Udhampur.
Inmates and members of Rotary Club Jammu Trikuta will travel to Udhampur on the morning of December 21. The management committee, including Sham Lal Basson, Veena Bakshi, Aditya Dutta, and Rajni Devi, will oversee pre- and post-operative care for the patients. |
