Jammu, Dec 8: Shamsheer Hakla Poonchi, a prominent Gujjar leader and member of the J&K National Conference Party, commended Member of Parliament Janab Mian Altaf Sahab for his dedication to addressing the pressing issues of the Rajouri-Poonch border districts.
In a press note, Hakla lauded Mian Altaf’s efforts to improve the Jammu-Poonch Highway, describing the progress made under his guidance as commendable. He also highlighted the MP’s recommendation to the Union Railway Minister for the development of a 40-kilometer railway line from Reasi to Rajouri and his initiatives to enhance medical facilities at Government Medical College Rajouri through grants from the MP Fund.
Hakla appreciated Mian Altaf’s commitment to raising critical issues, including the electricity challenges in Jammu and Kashmir, during the ongoing Parliament session. He expressed satisfaction with the MP’s persistent efforts to resolve the problems of the Rajouri-Anantnag constituency and advance its development.
