| LoC Club & Rufiyaan Club Advance to Quarterfinals in KGPL 2024-25 | | |  Early Times Report
Jhullas, Dec 8: Day 11 of the Krishna Ghati Premier League (KGPL) 2024-25 witnessed thrilling performances as both pre-quarterfinal matches saw intense competition and sportsmanship at the Sports Ground Jhullas.
In Match No. 20, LoC Club faced off against Glamorous Cricket Club. After winning the toss, LoC Club chose to bat first and managed to score 155 runs. In response, Glamorous Cricket Club fought valiantly but could only reach 146/5, with LoC Club securing the win by just 9 runs. Sanyam Gill was named Man of the Match for his stellar performance, scoring 80 runs in just 41 balls.
In Match No. 21, Youth Cricket Club (YCC) batted first after winning the toss and managed to put up 130 runs. However, Rufiyaan Club chased the target with ease, scoring 131/4 in 13.1 overs and winning by 6 wickets. Farooq Ganai was declared Man of the Match for his impressive 42 runs off just 20 balls.
The first match was graced by the presence of Lt Col Dalbir Malik, SM as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Toofan Singh, Govt Sr Secy School Jhullas, was the Chief Guest for the second match.
The event is being organized by Nangi Tekri Battalion under the aegis of the Krishna Ghati Brigade, as part of Operation Sadbhavna.
The technical supervision of the tournament is being managed by Mr. Pervaiz Malik Afridi, ensuring smooth conduct of matches.
