| Absconder arrested by Bishnah police | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 9: In its ongoing drive against absconders, the Jammu Police have successfully apprehended a man who had been evading arrest for the past year. The accused, Balbir Kumar, S/o Kaka Ram, a resident of Ganda, Tehsil RS Pura, was wanted in multiple criminal cases. The arrest was made by a team of Police Station Bishnah, led by its SHO under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura and SP Headquarters. The absconder was wanted in two significant cases: FIR No. 17/2015 under Section 4/25 Arms Act FIR No. 56/2015 under Sections 457/380/201 RPC Balbir Kumar had been evading his arrest since 2023 but was finally apprehended following sustained police efforts. He will now be presented before the court, and the arrest warrant issued against him under Section 512 CrPC will be executed. The successful arrest underscores the commitment of Jammu Police to maintain law and order by ensuring that wanted criminals are brought to justice. |
