| Bovine smuggling bid foiled in Nagrota | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 15: Under "Operation Kamdhenu," Jammu Police successfully thwarted a bovine smuggling attempt in the Nagrota subdivision. A vigilant police team from Police Post Sidhra intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle (registration no. JK21H-1983) at the Naka Tawi Bridge in Sidhra. Upon inspection, four bovines were discovered being transported illegally in cruel conditions. The driver of the vehicle managed to flee the scene.
The rescued bovines were safely relocated, and the vehicle was seized. Investigations into the case are ongoing to identify and apprehend the individuals involved.
