Known for brilliant comedy performances in the plays like Ghumayee, Kanjoos, Bagia Bancha Ram Ki and Saiyan Bhaye Kotwal, Pankaj always mesmerises audiences with his outstanding histrionics. Presented in Hindustani, the play compellingly highlights the shifting paradigms of husband-wife relationships, transitioning from early affectionate years to the challenges and bitterness that arise due to family responsibilities, financial pressures, and changing priorities. The storyline focuses on Som Nath, a middle-class man, and his wife as they navigate the trials of married life. Initially filled with joy, affection, and companionship, their relationship begins to deteriorate with the increasing pressures of raising children and managing daily routines. Misunderstandings and conflicts gradually consume their bond, and years are wasted in blame and regret. However, with time and after their children settle in life, the couple finally reconciles and rediscovers happiness, realizing the importance of mutual understanding and shared responsibilities.
