Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 15: A grand membership drive under the "Sangathan Parv" initiative of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was organized on Sunday in the Marh Assembly constituency. The event saw a strong turnout, with dozens of young individuals joining the party, inspired by its policies. Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma was the chief guest, while Marh MLA Surinder Kumar presided over the program. Also present were District Development Council (DDC) member Balbir Lal, BJP District President Omi Khajuria, senior leader Rajinder Singh Chib, and several sarpanches, panches, and local dignitaries. The membership drive marked a significant moment as youth leader Aditya Verma led the induction of new members into the BJP. Among those who joined were Vishwas, Vishal, Atul, Aryan, Chetan, Pratham, Saarth, Sumanyu, Ritesh, and Naman, along with nearly two dozen others. In his address, Chief Guest Jugal Kishore Sharma highlighted the party's commitment to providing opportunities and fostering development for the youth. "The BJP's policies pave the way for growth and prosperity for young people. Today's membership drive will strengthen our organization and contribute to the development of the Marh region," he said. Welcoming the new members, MLA Surinder Kumar expressed his satisfaction, stating, "The BJP has always empowered youth to take on leadership roles.
