J&K police organizes anti-drug awareness programmes in Samba | | | Early Times Report SAMBA, Dec 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted anti-drug awareness programmes at Government Girls Middle School (GGMS) Budhwani and Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Taloor under the Civic Action Programme (CAP). These initiatives aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The events were presided over by territorial officers and attended by students, teachers, lecturers, and school management members. Twenty students actively participated in the programmes, receiving school bags and stationery as tokens of appreciation for their involvement. The Principal of GHSS Taloor and Headmistress of GGMS Budhwani expressed heartfelt gratitude to the J&K Police for their efforts in spreading awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. The school management and attendees applauded the police department's role in fostering a drug-free society through such impactful initiatives. |
