RAJOURI, Dec 16: A one-day awareness and sensitization programme aimed at fostering intergenerational bonding was successfully organized at National Public School, Rajouri. The event, held on December 16, 2024, was led by the Human Organisation for Patronisation of Environment (HOPE) with support from the National Institute of Social Defence under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
The initiative focused on strengthening relationships between senior citizens and the younger generation by encouraging mutual understanding, respect, and emotional support. Key speakers, including Mr. Minkle Kumar, Principal Kanev Badyal, Eng. Nadeem Mirza, Dr. Zaheer, Savita Sharma, and Mr. Suraj Bali, delivered insightful sessions on the importance of intergenerational bonds in fostering a harmonious society.
The event saw active participation from students, teachers, and senior citizens, who shared experiences and ideas to bridge generational gaps. To encourage engagement, HOPE distributed prizes to participants, recognizing their enthusiasm and valuable contributions.
