INDORE, Dec 17: Waseem Raja Khan, General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Softball Association, has been elected as the Joint Secretary of the Softball Association of India (SBAI) during a Special General Body Meeting to elect office bearers and committee members for the 2024-2028 term. Ramesh Mendola was elected as the President, Dr. Pravin Anaokar as the Secretary General, and Sh. Santosh Chauhan as the Treasurer of SBAI. Khan, who played a key role in reviving softball in Jammu and Kashmir, expressed his commitment to promoting the sport in every corner of the UT. "Our athletes have immense potential, and with the right grassroots development, they can shine on national and international platforms," he said following his election. |
