JAMMU, Dec 17: The Jan Chetna Rural Development Forum organized a memorable program at Rainbow Public School, Rampura, Jammu, in collaboration with India Art Center. The event, held under the leadership of the newly appointed president, Mr. Ved Prakash Verma, was dedicated to the memory of the forum's co-founder, the late Shri Mohan Lal Verma, ex-BDO of the Rural Development Department.
During the program, certificates of appreciation were distributed, and students were honored for their achievements in academics, sports, Basoli painting, and cultural activities. This gesture aimed to encourage and motivate students to excel in various fields.
Mr. Ved Prakash Verma, who was unanimously appointed as the president of the forum on December 12, 2024, pledged to continue the legacy of Mohan Lal Verma. He emphasized his commitment to furthering the forum's goals of rural development, education, and social welfare.
