JAMMU, Dec 17: Tightening its grip against bovine smugglers under Operation Kamdhenu, Jammu Police successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle bovines in Sub-Division Akhnoor.
A team from Police Post Chowki Choura, during a special naka at Pardaya Morh, intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle (JK11E-3211) carrying five bovines. The driver, however, fled from the scene, abandoning the vehicle.
The rescued bovines were safely recovered, and the vehicle was seized. Further investigation into the case is underway.
