Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 20: Vikram Randhawa, senior BJP leader and MLA Bahu Constituency, emphasized the importance of self-reliant and entrepreneurship for Jammu youth. He was speaking after inaugurating the Ambika Dry Fruit Shop at Shiv Market near Railway Station. The event was graced by Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Vishwamitar Gupta, Adarsh Kumar, and other prominent figures from the local market, alongside the shop's owner, Bodh Raj.
In his address, Vikram Randhawa praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a self-reliant India, which has also opened numerous opportunities for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted the various Central Government-sponsored schemes designed to support young entrepreneurs, urging the youth to take advantage of these initiatives instead of waiting for government job opportunities.
"Rather than waiting for government jobs, I urge the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to tap into the abundant opportunities provided by the Centre. There are numerous schemes available that provide funding and support to young entrepreneurs. This is the time to take the plunge, start a business, and contribute to the local economy," he added.
Randhawa stressed the importance of entrepreneurship in creating a sustainable future for Jammu's youth. He encouraged them to look beyond traditional employment and leverage the financial support and resources available through government programs such as the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and Startup India. "Jammu and Kashmir's youth have immense potential, and by taking the entrepreneurial route, they can not only secure their financial independence but also contribute to the region's economic growth," he added.
