JAMMU, Dec 25: Dr. Ajay Sharma has been re-elected as the State President, and Sannak Shrivats has been elected as the new State Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Kashmir for the session 2024-25.
The announcement was made by the State Office of ABVP in Jammu today. According to Dr. Rakesh Sharma, the ABVP Election Officer, both office bearers will assume their roles during the 60th State Conference of ABVP, scheduled to be held at MV International School, Vijaypur, Samba, from December 27 to 30, 2024. The tenure for both positions will be one year.
Dr. Ajay Sharma, hailing from Udhampur, holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and is currently serving as a Senior Professor at Government Women College, Udhampur. He has been re-elected as the State President for the 2024-25 session.
Sannak Shrivats, from Billawar in Kathua District, has been associated with ABVP since 2018. He completed his B.A. from GDC Billawar and is pursuing an LLB from Jammu University. After serving as Joint Secretary for two years, he has now been elected as the State Secretary.
