Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 25: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta paid heartfelt tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji on the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary. Kavinder Gupta today participated in an exhibition organized at BJP Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Speaking on the occasion, the BJP stalwart highlighted the extraordinary contributions and visionary leadership of the iconic leader, who left an indelible mark on India's political and social fabric. He delved into Vajpayee's illustrious life, emphasizing his pivotal role in shaping modern India. "Under Vajpayee Ji's tenure as Prime Minister, India formally became a nuclear power, showcased resilience in handling Pakistan, and embarked on landmark public welfare initiatives like Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. His leadership ushered in a new era of foreign investment and elevated India's international relations, particularly with the United States," he added. Highlighting Vajpayee's profound approach to the Kashmir issue, Gupta praised the "Insaniyat, Jamhuriyat, and Kashmiriyat" doctrine, popularly known as the Vajpayee Doctrine. "This visionary policy, aimed at resolving all outstanding issues with Pakistan, including Jammu and Kashmir, through bilateral dialogue, gained acclaim both within India and abroad," he remarked. Kavinder also credited Vajpayee's leadership for laying the foundation of the BJP's growth into the world's largest political party. "Atal Ji was a beacon of light for the BJP. His vision and dedication have propelled the party to new heights, enabling it to steer the nation towards unprecedented progress and global recognition under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he added. Concluding his address, Kavinder urged the younger generation to draw inspiration from Vajpayee's ideals and strive to contribute to India's development. |
