JAMMU, Dec 26: We proudly announce that Ms. Sivani, a student of Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah, has won the First Cash Prize of Rs. 7,000 and a Merit Certificate for her outstanding performance at the 23rd Veeranna Aivalli Memorial Debate Competition. The prestigious event was held at the Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, organized by the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) J&K Regional Branch, Jammu & Kashmir Police, and the University of Jammu.
Ms. Sivani triumphed over 27 teams from colleges, university departments, and institutions across Jammu. Her eloquent arguments and exceptional debating skills earned her high praise, securing her the top spot. Mr. Yaseen, also from GDC Bishnah, participated and received a Participation Certificate.
The event was graced by dignitaries, including Anand Jain, ADG Jammu Zone, Prof. Anju Bhasin, Dean Academic Affairs at Jammu University, and B R Sharma, Chairman of IIPA J&K Regional Branch & State Election Commissioner. Dr. Ashok Bhan, Former DGP and Patron of IIPA, presided over the event.
